Here are some ideas for using buttons to make embellishments for scrapbooking and also ideas to make your own buttons!

Adore Neko makes handmade scrapbooking embellishments like these ones shown below.  They are vintage buttons sewn onto vintage sheet music cut into a scalloped shape.  See more here.

Sweet Vintage makes these buttons out of vintage children's books and cardstock.  See all of them here.

Love these back to school themed buttons from Evalicious. 

Melbangel made these embellishments with buttons and felt, shown below.

It is hard to believe the number of layouts I have completed since 1995! Since I am re-doing them all to meet Photo Book printing requirements, I decided to create layered templates at the same time so YOU can also enjoy the designs for YOUR album projects.

These Page Booster Templates have been designed to be compatible with the size, bleed, trim and margin allowances required for MyPicTales.com 12x12 Photo Books and single layout printing services. Each layout is sized at 12.25" x 12.25", and all photos, elements and journaling have been placed within the "Safe Zone" for accurate results when printing. I have also included an image file that shows where all the margins are, and an instruction sheet to explain the margin requirements. If you don't plan on printing your completed layouts, you don't need to use the margins guides I have provided, but they are there for convenience.

Tip to make Dry Leaf Card

Materials required: drawing sheet, dry leaf, pictures cut from magazine or newspapers.

Fold your drawing sheet from the middle.

You can draw a colorful and relevant to occasion picture on the outer side.

You can take a pretty leaf and dry it by keeping it between sheets of a newspaper and ironing it. This will make your loved ones think that you have been drying a leaf for a long time just for them!

Paste a god picture on the outer side of your card or better you can draw one for yourself.

Now write a message for those for whom you want to give the card on the inner side.

Put the card in an envelope.

Tie the envelope with a a ribbon and give it to your loved ones.
