Explore your creative side with the Raleigh City Museum and artist Stacy Lewis on Saturday, June 26 from 1:30p.m. to 3:30p.m. Learn how to use your scrapbooking skills to create a fun piece of art! No drawing experience necessary, all skill levels are welcome. We'll explore several techniques using acrylic paints and various collage materials, plus an assortment of other media. Students are asked to bring a 12x12" canvas, a flat 1-2" brush (other brushes are welcome also), and any other scrapbooking supplies you wish to use. The museum will provide paints, experimental media, and all other basic supplies. Prices are $25 for museum members, and $30 for non-members. The Raleigh City Museum is located in the Historic Briggs Building at 220 Fayetteville Street. The museum is open Tuesday-Friday, 10:00a.m.-4:00p.m. and Saturday, 1:00p.m.-4:00p.m. Admission to the museum and most programs is free.
